About

SWISS-MADE PRECISION
Based in Courgenay, Switzerland, Imetric was founded by Dr. sc. Horst Beyer, a world-renowned scientist who spent his life researching and perfecting the sciences of metrology and photogrammetry in industries such as defense, automotive, and aerospace. He holds three degrees in photogrammetry, has taught in universities across the globe, and has published over 70 papers.
In 2006, Dr. Beyer saw an urgent need for true photogrammetry in the field of dentistry after he was exposed to failings of stereophotogrammetry, intraoral scanners, and analog impression methods for capturing implant position. He began development in 2007, started clinical trials in 2013, and officially launched ICam in 2019.
Today, Imetric is the maker of the world's most accurate desktop scanner and the industry's most accurate and #1-selling photogrammetry.
“We've successfully completed over 1 million cases with zero failures.
It's rewarding to see how ICam is changing lives.”
- Dr. Horst Beyer
